Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different direction she would take. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. It was during this time that she came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. In both commercial terms and critically, it was an enormous success. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The album is comprising four tracks that were improvised. This E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a social activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 when she released the album of Diva that featured many of her most popular tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass.
