
Jennifer has always wanted achieve the status of a multi-tasking superstar. She was an avid fan of diverse music styles in her youth, which included Afro-Caribbean music styles like merengue, salsa, and the bachata. As an adult, her most loved genres were mainstream pop-hop, R&B, and hip-hop. She was a lover of music, but was equally fascinated with the cinema industry. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was also an entertainer and a Catholic schoolgirl, attended 8 years at Holy Family Catholic elementary school located in The Bronx. After a time of four years and graduation, she attended Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. At high school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, and played track and field and tennis. Then, in Castle Hill, she spent her childhood in a 2-story house. Jennifer moved out of the house when she was 18 , and moved in with her parents. Lopez was hired at a legal firm during the day and took up dance jobs at night.
